"SOMOS Tigres: A four-week, residential summer bridge program beginning July 6 is part of that initiative. During the summer bridge, students will earn up to seven credit hours and will be equipped with the knowledge and the tools to help them become successful students at SSU. The summer bridge program is absolutely free and includes room and board.
Interested students need to meet only two requirements: 1) Complete an application to SSU and be eligible for admission for fall 2014 and 2) be first-generation, first-time freshmen.
