A NIGHT IN RIO: The Brazilian Carnival Experience The Latin American Coalition invites you to our third annual Brazilian Celebration A NIGHT IN RIO a journey through Brazil in an evening featuring traditional dancing; live musical performances of Samba, Bossa Nova, and Brazilian Beats; authentic foods; and arts and crafts.
You won't want to miss the contagious energy of Brazils famous Carnaval at this one-of-a-kind cultural experience.
The Carnival celebration will start with a free samba lessons to get the crowd moving.
Demonstrations of capoeira, an Afro- Brazilian art form that combines martial arts, music and dance, will be provided JustBrazil.
There will be live samba and traditional dancing by Movimentos de Samba.
The globally-known hits of Antonio Carlos Jobim, Joao Gilberto and Sergio Mendes will move the crowd with live samba music interpreted by Malandro Soul and Reinaldo Brahn.
The night will close with an exciting live batucada with drumming, dancers and audience participation.
