Please join us as the Savannah Philharmonic presents the fourth and final concert in their 2010-2011 Chamber Series at Skidaway Island Methodist Church. This program, entitled "Passions", will feature Brahms Quartet No. 1 in c minor and Carter Pann Love Letters Quartet. Robbi Kenney, violin, Jadde Nolty, violin, Anjali Lind, viola, and Annelise Nelson, cello will complete the ensemble for this intimate chamber program.

Savannah’s Black Heritage Festival 2011
The 22nd Annual Savannah Black Heritage Festival kicks off its celebration on February 1, 2011, and will continue through Sunday, February 13th with some pre- and post-festival events. The festival is presented by The City of Savannah and Savannah State University, and all events and activities are free of admission* and open to the public.
*Some events require a free reserved-seat ticket for admission. These events are indicated on the schedule along with information about obtaining tickets and the location of ticket outlets.

Convocada Torcida Brasileira em Savannah!!!
Ola Pessoal,
Nesse DOMINGO, a 1pm, CONVOCAMOS A TORCIDA BRASILEIRA para assistir ao JOGO DE FUTEBOL da Nadima Skeff, Jogadora da Selecao Brasileira que treina na Armstrong! Sera um jogo importante para o time! O jogo acontecera no Campo de Futebol da Universidade Armstrong.
A mesma torcida eh convocada para a TARDE DE AUTOGRAFOS da escritora Marli Sieburger, que acontecera nos dois proximos finais de semana em Savannah!

Forsyth Park
Children's book authors from around the country and the region gather to celebrate a love of words in Forsyth Park. Rain location is in the Civic Center. Free and open to the public.

AASU Soccer Field (Campo de Futebol da Universidade Armstrong)
The Armstrong Atlantic State University women's soccer team will play in the Round of 32 of the NCAA II National Championship Tournament versus the winner of UNC Pembroke/Pfeiffer on Sunday.
Ingressos podem ser comprados na hora:
- Adults: $ 7.00
- Students with I.D./Senior Citizens: $ 5.00
- Children, ages 2-12: $ 5.00
- Children under the age of 2 shall be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Picnic in the Park, in Forsyth Park on Sunday, Oct. 3
The City of Savannah presents the beloved Savannah tradition, Picnic in the Park, in Forsyth Park on Sunday, Oct. 3.
This year’s event will feature Strings of the South, a specially formed string ensemble under the direction of local talent Eddie Wilson.
This year’s picnic theme is “Pink in the Park,” in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, held during October. Picnickers are encouraged to make creative use of the color pink when planning their picnics. Those who enter their spreads in the picnic contest, called “Pinknic in the Park,” will be eligible to win an array of prizes, as well as bragging rights as Savannah’s best picnicker.
